Kingfield Days continues to be held on the third weekend of July. Festivities start on Thursday with Cribbage and Bridge tournaments then on Friday afternoon we will host our second annual Surf and Turf dinner with all of the fixings including ice cream sundaes for dessert. After the dinner there will be balloon stomping, board walk and water balloon toss competitions as well as pie eating and a spelling bee contest. Just prior to the dinner the Kingfield American Legion will host their annual flag retirement ceremony. Saturday morning is the kids doll carriage and bike parades, two inflatable bounce houses and a large inflatable obstacle course. The petting zoo will be set up all day. Grand Parade begins at 1:00 followed by lots of competitions to be held on the water behind Longfellow’s. Saturday night is the street dance. Sunday morning, we have a lawnmower race and American Legion water gun battle between Kingfield kids and Legion #61.
