Steam the Sawtooths

July 26 -- 30, 2010

Stanley, Idaho

Our steam tour will "hub" at Bill Harrah's Mountain Village Resort in Stanley Idaho. At an elevation of 6260 ft. and with an official population of 100, this is a very scenic area in the Sawtooth Mountain range on the Salmon River. It is located in Idaho's primitive area. Popular activities include: white-water rafting, fishing, biking, hiking, boating, berry-picking etc. This resort has 61 total suites; we have blocked out 25 in the isolated North wing and negotiated a special steam tour rate of $85.00 per suite. Most suites have two queen-sized beds. As this resort is very popular, please make your reservations ASAP at 800-843-5475 and identify yourself as being a part of the steam car group. An area is provided for motor homes.

This tour will be "budget friendly," with reasonable short travel distances to accommodate the smaller early steam cars. Several interesting daily educational steam-related presentations are being organized. Most meals will be individually ordered from a menu except for the final blow-down banquet.

For more information and registration forms contact: Rob Williams, 400 Bitteroot Drive, Boise, ID 83709; Tel.: 208-377-1307; Email: rewill00@msn.com.
